Dear All,
Thank you so much for getting me through chemo treatments with such kindness and patience. Your patients are truly
blessed to have such a wonderful group of nurses administering such compassionate care.
I was so scared that first treatment and all of you made me feel so much better about the treatment. I hope this is my
only experience with chemotherapy, but I know that I will be in good care if I have to go down this road again. I will try
hard not to be a repeat patient!
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Tara P.
“Hello,
My father (Jesse S., who just so happens to be the best Dad ever), was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's
Lymphoma and is being treated at the Spring Hill facility. I live in another state and recently was able to visit and go with
my Dad to chemotherapy. The facility is very nice but it is the staff that makes it exceptional. The oncology nurses are
professional and help to put the patients at ease. It is hard enough for them to deal with what has happened in their lives
and to have a caring, kind person there to help makes it just a little easier. Monique and all the girls are just wonderful
with my Dad and put up with his ever inquiring daughter exceptionally well. As a nurse, it's nice to see this kind of
compassion in the fast paced, hectic world of medicine. Please acknowledge them in some way if at all possible and give
them our thanks. I'd love for it to be in the form of a big raise but alas, I wish that for all of us! I'm glad to know
that my Dad is in good hands while I'm away. Thanks to you all and have a great day."
Regards,
Shari S.

word to explain the feeling of making you feel better just be seeing Dr. Wright. I am sure she was sent from heaven and is
surrounded by those special angels, her nurses, they are just wonderful…"

"After four years – I know them all – the nurses, techs, just everyone…if I had to get cancer, I’m glad I had to come
here…I ask anyone going to Moffit – ‘why’."

“My father and his family want you to know that we feel tremendously blessed to have found The Florida Cancer Institute - New Hope.
After experiencing for one year, repeated disappointments and discouragement a different oncologist and office staff, we made
the change to Dr. Gail Shaw Wright. What a difference! We are greeted with a smile and a kind word each time by the staff,
from Linda at the open reception window, to Charlotte the nurse, Beth the phlebotomist, and Jennifer who works ‘behind the
scenes.’ Dr. Wright has been wonderful as well – a winning combination of personality, perception and wisdom in treatment.”
“For a patient with an aggressive form of cancer, a cheerful face, a caring word of encouragement, and a doctor and staff
who are so professional makes all the difference. This office is radiant with the spirit of compassion.”
