Arthur Joseph Matzkowitz, M.D. is board certified in radiation oncology. Dr. Matzkowitz received his medical degree from Albany Medical College, Albany, New York. He was an internal medicine intern at Brookdale Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Matzkowitz was then an Ophthalmic Pathology fellow at AFIP in Washington, D.C. Dr. Matzkowitz completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Montefiore Hospital and the Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York and his fellowship in radiation oncology at SUNY at Stony Brook Hospital, New York. Dr. Matzkowitz was an attending physician in the Radiation Oncology Group in Troy, New York prior to moving to Florida.
Dr. Matzkowitz holds staff privileges at New Port Richey Hospital, Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point and Spring Hill, Brooksville Regional and Oak Hill Hospitals. He also is an H. Lee Moffitt affiliate physician and has privileges at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Matzkowitz is the immediate past Chairman of the Cancer Committee at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point, and is presently a member on that committee. He has been active on the Pain and Radiation Safety Committees as well. Dr. Matzkowitz has been involved in a number of clinical studies and has also published several scientific papers.

Dr. Matzkowitz’s academic interests include prostate, breast and lung malignancies as well as clinical research.
Outside the arena of medicine, Dr. Matzkowitz enjoys reading, music, fitness, golf, swimming and bike riding.
