Lawrence Hochman, D.O., F.A.C.R.O.
Radiation Oncology
Lawrence Hochman, D.O., F.A.C.R.O., is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology. He received his training in Radiation Oncology through Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals, Methodist Hospital, Houston Veterans Administration Medical Center and Ben Taub General Hospital, Houston, Texas. He is a 1990 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and practiced Family Medicine before specializing in Radiation Oncology. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.
Dr. Hochman's experience includes standard external beam radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy, pediatric oncology and conformal radiation planning and treatment. He has a special interest in brachytherapy for prostate and gynecological tumors. Dr. Hochman serves on the Radiation Executive Board of US Oncology.
Dr. Hochman is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American College of Radiation Oncology, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Medical Association.
Hospital affiliations include, Community Hospital New Port Richey, Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Regional Medical Center - Bayonet Point, Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville Regional Hospital and Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
Dr. Hochman lives in New Port Richey with his wife and their two children. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of New Port Richey.
